Continuity Desk is a private editorial system built by Boomer Rawlings through Rawlings Consulting LLC. It is designed for projects that unfold over time and accumulate sources, decisions, obligations, and unanswered questions.

Keeping the work from restarting

Each desk begins with context intake: what the project is trying to accomplish, what is uncertain, what must be remembered, and what needs to happen next. The current material becomes a private dossier. The following cycle carries forward the useful frame, open questions, source trails, and decisions instead of beginning again from scattered notes.

What each volume holds

A volume can combine synthesis, a source map, a decision record, and next-step planning. Sources are kept within the limits of what they can support, while unresolved questions remain visible instead of being polished away.

Editorial responsibility

AI can help gather, draft, and synthesize. Human judgment determines what is worth saying, what needs verification or a narrower claim, what should be cut, and what belongs outside the frame. The desk supports the client’s thinking and authorship; it does not replace either.

Public sample

The embedded eight-page dossier is fictional and composite. It shows the editorial structure, density, and page rhythm of the work without publishing a real client’s project or materials.
